What This Study Is About
Researchers at Baylor Scott & White Rehabilitation are looking for 140 people with spinal cord injury to take part in a 16-week, online physical activity program. Participants will attend weekly online meetings and try exercises at home. Participants will be compensated for their time.
What You Would Do
The online program is designed to help you start and stick with an exercise program. The study staff will hold weekly meetings online through the study website to help guide you through the process of starting an exercise program at your home or other place in your neighborhood. You will participate in these weekly online conference calls, with 5 – 9 other people also starting the program. These meetings will be led by a study staff member and cover topics about how to start and stick with an exercise program that works for you, including how to exercise safely and generate ideas to overcome issues that make it hard for you to exercise.
