Brian Denny was determined to go back to work after a C3-4 spinal cord injury in 2010. The Columbia resident not only re-entered the work force with a high level injury, but was named South Carolina Vocational Rehabilitation’s 2016 Client of the Year.
In addition to his position as the Administrative Coordinator with the South Carolina Spinal Cord Injury Association, Brian serves as the Accessibility Chair on the South Carolina Building Code Council. He holds a bachelor of science in music education and a bachelor of arts in trumpet performance from Elon University. He earned a master of music in music therapy from Illinois State University.
Brian is a diehard North Carolina State Wolfpack fan and enjoys the outdoors and woodworking. He and his wife Jessica have two children, Kendall and Cooper. The family also shares their home in Northeast Columbia with a cocker spaniel named Tanner.
