Nutrition Study

This study is being held in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Do You Have a Spinal Cord Injury and
Are Concerned About Your Nutrition?

The Physicians at Carolinas Rehabilitation Want to Find Out the Benefits of Nutrition Education in People with Spinal Cord Injuries (SCI)

If You Meet The Following Criteria:

You are between the ages of 18 and 60.

You have a spinal cord injury that has caused you to need a wheelchair for your mobility.

Your spinal cord injury occurred at least 1 year ago.

Your spinal cord injury occurred as a result of either a traumatic injury or transverse myelitis, without a diagnosis of multiple sclerosis, surgery, or a benign cancer.

You do not have a Stage III or IV pressure ulcer.

You are not on dialysis.

Then you may be qualified to participate in the study in which you would receive free labs to determine your cardiovascular disease risk. You will also be compensated for your travel and time.
