Quality of Life Survey
This Continence and Catheterization Impact Assessment Survey will take approximately 20 minutes to complete. The responses to this survey will provide insight into the health insurance coverage and product needs of people who use intermittent catheterization to manage their bladder emptying needs. This survey is about your experience and quality of life with intermittent catheter use. An intermittent catheter is a catheter that a person inserts and then removes from the urethra once the bladder is emptied. It is not an indwelling catheter that stays in place to continuously empty the bladder (such as a Foley catheter).
This investigation recognizes that people who use intermittent catheterization as their primary means of bladder management represent a highly variable population with specific needs and requirements. The survey investigates various aspects of life and health status, and challenges that individuals may face as a result of bladder emptying with a catheter.
