Some advice I would give to a newly injured person would be don't let anybody tell you that you can't do certain things because of your disability. Our way of doing things might look a little different from an able bodied person but we can do anything anybody else can do! 2. Just because you have a spinal cord injury that doesn't mean the world is over. Things will get better! Be optimistic! Embrace your new life, you will be surprised the opportunities that will come your way if you stay positive and there are several people and resources to help you along on this new journey
